After two long years of trying to decide how to make living in Kingwood and owning a ranch 120 miles from Kingwood work, we are moving. For several months Ross had actually been in the process of trying to get a transfer to the Lufkin area, which works out of Beaumont. But Beaumont isn't ready to do an official office there, and has asked if he would work on getting Lufkin going, while reporting to Beaumont some as well. So, we are moving...to Jasper...after much debate and prayer. Since Ross' dad's death 2 years ago, he has fell in love with running this ranch but it has been VERY hard to live one place and do everything here, and have responsiblities somewhere else. Often, I am here in Kingwood doing what needs to be done here, with the kids, while Ross spends his weekends at the ranch tending to things there. This will allow us to have more of a "home" and be together more. And Ross won't constantly be torn between two places. Our kids are VERY excited to be there, close to cousins, and grandparents, and all the things they love to do! I am a little concerned about my proximity to Target, and I will miss my sweet, sweet friends terribly. But truth be known...we are all very excited and can't wait to start our new life and be settled....really settled! If you have a session scheduled, it will take place! I will not be scheduling anything after Dec 31st till I know more about when we will actually be making the move.
